The crazy story of snowboard!

A tribute, a story from 0 to now of snowboarding, by Burn! That’s story telling for a passion, by a product, thus the best indirect promotion of the product it self. Respect ;)

The excitement of planning a new trip… <3

You know.. that excitement you feel when searching for information on a place. Or that funny feeling in your stomach when you finally book the flight to the destination of you dreams!

Searching for your hostel, checking reviews, looking for the best places to visit and what not to miss… oh how much I miss those feelings! I have so many crazy stories to share when remembering of my trips: flights almost lost, running to catch a ferry, strange food, amazing moments with locals.

Each story is safely stored in a special place of my mind and heart. Only travelling can offer you so many experiences, can broaden your mind and stimulate your creativity that much, that will fill you with motivation and boost your performance in all areas.

Cycling in Enschede

I must highlight that the most exciting travels I made where the ones with just a backpack and a couple of friends. They were the most adventurous, having to carefully plan each trip before, but always facing crazy circumstances. Just a few stuff, good friends and the will to explore a new destination.

My trip to Slovenia-Croatia was like that. We planned the trip but not the accommodation. Each time we arrived to a city or village we could bargain the price for a room with local old ladies. They were waiting with a piece of paper in their hands “rooms”, at bus stations and ports. It’s a pity I don’t have a picture of that. The most impressive destination was Duprovnik!

Another one was north of France, with my roommates. We were 4 sleeping inside the car, outside Mont Saint Michel. We woke up at 6 o’clock and visited that mysterious abbey, tourist-free! It was pure magic and we left, just on time the hords of “turistas” started to arrive, with destination Paris! That was crazy! 1800km in 4 days if I’m not mistaken :) Loved id!

What else can I recall.. hmm 19 hours in a bus from Rio de Janeiro to Salvador, cycling around Munster and Enschede, walking 3 hours with a ton of stuff to reach the port and catch a ferry from Venice to Greece, BBQ in a favela in Rio, living with a Brazilian family, getting lost in Amsterdam and entering a really small, scary, coffee shop with strange people.. that in the end were so friendly and polite…

Only travelling can provide you with great emotions and unexpected moments that in the future, will be precious memories to recall, smile and talk about. Travel, travel and travel, meet people, make friends for life, have fun, experience..live!

Make the most out of this life, as if it was your last :P

My next trip will be a road trip.. again :) From Heraklion of Crete, Greece all the way to Enschede, The Netherlands. It is gonna be a hell of a trip and I am really looking forward to it. Venice, Verona, Innsbruck, Munich, Frankfurt and finally Enschede. One night in Munich and of course we will go with the flow, if something interesting comes up, we will absolutely go for it :)

How about you guys? Planning any trips lately?

Yep bicycle with jeans! Cycling as a mean of transport .. wow I’m so Greek!
